The moment we've been all waiting for is looking to be going down on October 4. According to "sources familiar to the matter", Apple is going to hold a media event on October 4, where we expect the company to unveil its next iPhone(s). While, of course, Apple can change the date anytime, AllThingsD is rather certain that October 4 is the day to circle in your calendar using a red pencil. The announced phone will allegedly be available weeks after the event, which would make it an October-announced-October-available iPhone. The report goes on saying Apple's new CEO, Tim Cook, will be most probably the one showing the phone(s) off.
