Verizon Motorola Droid X Getting 4.5.605 Keyboard Fix Update

You are in an Android Post

The last time the Verizon Motorola Droid X got an update it was version 4.5.602 back in August and it brought a cornucopia of fixes and improvements to the table. One issue still remained though: the keyboard bug.

According to rumors, Verizon is preparing to roll-out an update on September 19. It will be version 4.5.605 and its sole purpose will be to "resolve keyboard stability and usability issues in order to optimize performance during text entry". The update, even though it's only fixing a single issue, weighs 113MB and, according to those who had the pleasure of testing it, will fix the bug alright but will unfortunately introduce new ones. Let's wait it out and see if it's just an isolated issue or a general one (in which case we hope Verizon and Motorola sort it out before the roll-out process, even if it's delayed a bit).
