HTC Announces Sensation XE With Beats by Dr. Dre Audio

You are in an Android Post

We knew multimedia-oriented phones are going to come out from the Taiwanese manufacturer once it teamed up with Beats by Dr. Dre and the HTC Sensation XE is the first one the phone maker announces.

The phone is a step up from this year's Sensation. The Sensation XE packs a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 768MB RAM, 4.3-inch qHD display, eight-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording, VGA front-facer, 8GB/16GB microSD card included and an improved 1730 mAh battery. It runs Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread with HTC Sense 3.0 on top of it.

Running Android 2.3.4 with HTC Sense 3.0 over the top, it will come boxed with either an 8GB or 16GB microSD card. In the box you'll find the in-ear buds Beats by Dr. Dre which, when plugged in, makes the phone switch to the Beats by Dr. Dre profile, offering a great multimedia experience.

The phone will be available in EMEA and Asian-Pacific regions by the end of this month.
